At EDEX – 2017 our Themed tracks will cover the most bridging topics and establish a connection between the School and college education that can set the
right tone and rhythm for the future students. At IBCI we firmly believe that education methodologies have to be set right from the very beginning of school
education enabling the students to learn the real life skills and be able to adopt the higher education with ease.
We all have seen and learnt that children leaving one phase of education should be ready for the next. That's self-evident and imperative. The primary education objective was to implicate that preparing for 7th standard is all that primary education focus is all about. Our education system feels that educating children between the ages of four and eleven has no necessity of its own, and that education is not valued for its own sake. There is also a concern that 'secondary education' is defined exclusively in terms of literacy and numeracy, with no mention of the wider curriculum that both primary and secondary schools are obliged to teach. The big question now is ”Have our secondary schools created the required foundation for higher studies”.
The reasons for the above phenomena are complicated. They include the threatening impact of getting in to large school from a smaller one, and from the simple charm of 'my teacher' and 'my class' to the originally perplexing environment of different teachers for different subjects, which also include cross-campus migrations between lessons; and the rude shock of being big fish in a small pond one day and tiny fish in an ocean the next.
At EDEX Focal Point the tracks will cover the subjects that include workshops and panel discussions for seamless curriculum transactions with technology and innovation at the forefront making the digital natives students more comprehendible with the outer world and the other major focus at EDEX-2017 is to connect the leaders in education from different phases of a child's growth so as to develop and nurture young minds with a guided approach. It's a focused agenda that will enrich and elevate critical expectations that educators find missing with their predecessors in the child's nurtured education evolution.
At EDEX-2017 Focal Point you will uncover the role of smart education in advancing sustainable goals by giving schools crucial information about the market, trends and innovative technologies such as the use of Cloud in Classroom to shape future pathways while enriching the learning experience. Enhancing the teaching quality by redesigning learning spaces and change expectations from your teaching staff. At EDEX-2017 emphasis will be laid on Modern vs Traditional Teaching>/b> and understanding how can academic institutions and their educators remain contemporaneous in a globalized interconnected world.
